Digital Footprint/ Digital Citizenship

A digital footprint is tracks that you leave on the internet. Every time you E-mail a friend or get on facebook or a gaming site you leave a track. Someone could trace you steps if you aren't careful.

Digital Citizenship is how you act on the internet. Are you kind to others or mean? It's when you respect they art work and don't post mean comments about it.

One positive example of digital citizenship is if you seem a picture someone drew on facebook. Or maybe a story someone wrote and you think it's good. Then comment and tell them it could make them feel better.

A negative example of of digital citizenship is saying something bad about someone's work. It could be artwork or something they wrote it's would be mean to critisize it.

Assignment: DigiTeen Introduction

After reading some introductions from other students in the project:

1. Look at the rubric so that you will know how the introduction will be graded (advanced is worth the most points, beginning is worth the least points).
2. Write 5 - 10 (or more) sentences to introduce yourself.
3. Pay particular attention to correct spelling, capitalization and punctuation - this is SCHOOL WRITING, not TEXT writing.
